Aiming for investment?
BASF is giving you the chance to
secure
your venture’s progress.
Start-up Science is a regional pitch event hosted by BASF where regional start-ups present their start-up ideas that are related to a specific yearly topic.
If you are aged 18-35, come from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia or Slovenia and have a start-up idea that directly or indirectly contributes to the cleaner air in the region, BASF could help you to develop your idea further.
Regardless of the point where your start-up is, from concept to scaleup, BASF can help to move your start-up forward. The idea needs to:
Represent an air-purifying product.
Reduce the need for transport.
Represent a smart solution regarding traffic.
Be an environmentally friendly alternative for means of transportation.
Represent an alternative to gasoline or diesel-powered equipment/product.
Contribute to cleaner air even though it is not mentioned in above cases.

First BASF Start-up Science was held in 2018 as a pilot project in Serbia. Two years ago, the project was held as a local competition aimed to support the academic community of the country – while exploring the local entrepreneurial spirit. After proven success, real Start-up Science is being rolled out at its full capacity this year and it aims to enable the most prominent start-up to build something for the better future.
