About the program

About the program

Start-up Science is BASF’s initiative to help compelling start-ups within the Adria region while at the same time contribute to solving one of the biggest local problems – air pollution.

First BASF Start-up Science was held in 2018 as a pilot project in Serbia. Two years ago, the project was held as a local competition aimed to support the academic community of the country – while exploring the local entrepreneurial spirit. After proven success, real Start-up Science is being rolled out at its full capacity this year and it aims to enable the most prominent start-up to build something for the better future.
